The Sri Lanka Bankers Association was inaugurated in June 2023 at a general meeting under the supervision of the Sri Lankan Professionals Associations of UAE. The SLBA-UAE is a registered member of the SLPA-UAE with the following goals and objectives;

INVITATION TO JOIN AS A DISTINGUISHED MEMBER OF SRI LANKAN BANKERS ASSOCIATION (SLBA-UAE)
We, the Sri Lankan Bankers Association (SLBA-UAE) was inaugurated on 7th June 2023 as one of the member associations within Sri Lankan Professional Association FZ LLC (SLPA-UAE).
As a young professional association, we have been consistent and progressively embarking ourselves to achieve both our Mission & Vision by;
- ➤ Encouraging all Sri Lankan banking and finance professionals working in the UAE to join hands with the SLBA-UAE and leading them to practice professionalism at the highest standards.
- ➤ Engaging in Continuous Professional Development (CPDs) to upskill and reskill them in both technical & soft skills. We have conducted selective awareness building webinars on life and professional skills. Our webinars are extended to other professionals with awareness workshops on the latest trends in employment opportunities supporting new entrants to the UAE with networking opportunities.
- ➤ Establishing strategic partnerships with education partners and providing opportunities to our members to engage in their skill development to secure professional qualifications at exclusive rates. We are confident such opportunities would develop our membership to be competitive and highly skilled workforce in UAE.
- ➤ Conducting many networking events within the membership enhancing interaction & strengthening relationships resulting in opportunities for further career development.
- ➤ Collaborating with other registered Sri Lankan associations extending support and actively involving in their projects enhancing community wellbeing & development confirming our commitment towards the UAE Community.
- ➤ Actively engaging with the Sri Lankan Embassy & the Consulate to further improve the Sri Lankan brand in the UAE. We achieve this through planned & focused initiatives such as establishing connections for Sri Lankans to seamlessly set up businesses & enhancing export opportunities to the UAE. These initiatives demonstrates our commitment to strengthen the business opportunities between UAE & Sri Lanka.
